Scott is a geomorphologist, a landscape scientist who has studied the forms of rivers and their watersheds, glacial grooves, water seepage between bedrock and the land surface, and caves. He taught university courses on landscape and ocean features 1983-2022.
Jennifer draws on college and university specialties in history, literature, teaching, and anthropology. She introduced table-top role playing to the family, building a strong tradition of shared storytelling. She enjoys sharing and critically discussing books, television, and other media.
